Lora

Lora werd twee jaar geleden gevonden, achtergelaten in een kartonnen doos met haar pasgeboren kittens midden in een park in Athene. Ze was zelf nog maar 6 maanden oud, maar al wel moeder. Ze bleef in de doos en probeerde haar best te doen om haar pasgeboren baby's te beschermen tegen katers die in de buurt op de loer lagen en de kinderen die in het park speelden en hen onbewust in gevaar brachten. Gelukkig schoten vrijwilligers te hulp en gaven Lora en haar kittens de zorg die ze nodig hadden. Al haar kittens zijn inmiddels geadopteerd in België, maar Lora wacht nog steeds op haar nieuwe thuis.

Lora is een ongelooflijk lieve, aanhankelijke en intelligente kat. Ondanks alles wat ze heeft meegemaakt, staat ze altijd te popelen om met mensen om te gaan en hunkert ze naar aandacht en liefde. Ze heeft een speelse kant en vindt het heerlijk om haar omgeving te verkennen, maar ze vindt het net zo fijn om naast je te liggen voor een knuffel. Lora heeft een natuurlijke nieuwsgierigheid en geniet van menselijk gezelschap, waardoor ze de perfecte metgezel is. Kun jij degene zijn die dit liefdevolle meisje het thuis geeft dat ze verdient?

Onze katten worden als binnenkatten geplaatst, maar voor sommige katten is het wenselijk dat ze een (afgeschermde) buitenruimte hebben. Dit is per kat verschillend. Jonge, speelse katten plaatsen we liever samen met een andere jonge kat, of in een huis waar al een kat is.

Lora was found two years ago, abandoned in a cardboard box with her newborn kittens in the middle of a park in Athens. At only 6 months old, she was still a kitten herself, yet already a mother. She stayed in the box, trying her best to protect her days-old babies from male cats lurking nearby and the children playing in the park, who unknowingly put them at risk. Thankfully, volunteers came to the rescue, giving Lora and her kittens the care they needed. While all of her kittens have since been adopted in Belgium, Lora is still waiting for her forever home.

Lora is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and intelligent cat. Despite everything she’s been through, she is always eager to interact with people, craving attention and love. She has a playful side and loves to explore her surroundings, but she’s equally content curling up next to you for a cuddle. Lora has a natural curiosity and enjoys human company, making her the perfect companion. Could you be the one to give this loving girl the home she deserves?

Our cats only get placed indoors, but some may require a protected area outside (catio, netted balcony, cat-proof garden).Young, playful cats only get adopted into a home with another young and playful cat or along with a second cat.
